Cordelia headed inside with Angel, the smile on his face enough to put a bounce in her step even if one hadn't been there to begin with. Spotting the stranger just inside the hotel, she arched one eyebrow slightly as she stepped inside. At his comment about Angel, though, she couldn't help but snort a bit.
"Oh, please," she replied, "Angel is a whole new definition of the word pale." Tossing a wink in her Champion's direction, she took Peter's hand.
"Call me Cordy, and I wasn't aware we even had security, so you're definitely a sight for sore eyes. Especially if you can put a stop to freaky looking squid creatures from walking through the walls and snatching me right out of here."
After shaking his hand, she released it then glanced around. "Although," she added after a moment, hazel eyes sparkling with humor, "if your idea of security was killing off all the team members, we might have a few creative differences. This place is a ghost town, jeez." Her attention flickered to Angel. "Unless you fired everyone before running off to get yourself killed, in which case we are so going to have to discuss the concept of communication and warning a person beforehand."
