Peter recognized one of the faces entering the front doors. But it didn't fit with the sound of a heartbeat he could hear echoing in that chest. He raised an eyebrow, flicking a hand at the door to unlock and open it for the mortal Angel and the woman he could only assume was Cordelia, given the way they held onto one another.
"I guess the trip was a success," he said, his tone a bit dry, but a smirk in the edge of his lips. "Nice to have you back again, Angel. A walk in the sun seems to be good for you. You were looking a little pale." Then he glanced at the woman. "And you must be Cordelia. Good to meet you." He held out a hand. "I'm Peter. Katara put me in charge of security."
