Jaina held out the food for him, brow furrowed slightly at his hesitation. When he spoke again, she gave a light shake of her head. "No screaming," she promised with a slight smile, settling down on the bench near where he was hovering in mid-air, pulling out her own sandwhich and peeling back part of the wrapping.
Truth be told, Jaina wasn't sure what to expect to find beneath the mask he wore, but she also wasn't dwelling on it either. He looked how he looked and she wasn't one to judge based on appearance. Growing up amongst various types of beings, some humanoid and some not so much, meant you didn't carry with you quite as much judgement for the appearance of others as those in this world seemed to do.
Her thoughts focused on the simple task of eating, she absently picked up her drink and took a small sip, gaze going back to Mantis for lack of desire to stare at her food continuously.
