"Notes would be great, yeah, good idea, notes, notes, notes!" he rambled on, slightly overwhelmed with the amount of people there. A good overwhelmed mind you. "Oh, sorry, I'll get rid of the disco," he said, realising that he still had the hits of the 80s filling the room in a highly unprofessional manner.
"Oh, and here she is now!" the Doctor grinned as Rose came into the room and he switched off the radio. He wasn't quite sure what to do with himself; it felt sort of like one of those parties where he'd feel the need to mingle and introduce everyone, but of course they were all there for a much more serious matter. He just stood there fiddling with the fraying edges of the bandage covering his neck wound; at least his advice had been taken seriously and he wasn't going to have to argue his point until they saw sense.
Just as he opened his mouth to start gathering people's attention again he was thrown off track by the appearance of the TARDIS in human form; he just stood there, his mouth opening and closing like a fish as he tried to figure out the scene before him. "You don't make a whooshing sound anymore," he commented stupidly, running his hands through his hair. "Err, this is... my TARDIS. Yeah. Don't ask," he explained badly, shrugging it off as if it were nothing all that interesting.
