Jack had decided to pay little to no mind to Connor and Katara. They were simply there, just as Will's crew was, and he figured the less he said to them, the better. Whatever previous good hearted feelings he had held toward Katara had changed in the recent last few days. When she mentioned being glad he was present, he knew well enough to take it with a grain of salt. He simply looked off over the waters and nodded his head once. "I'm sure you are, Waterbender." He tilted his hat to at least acknowledge Connor in the minimalist way possible and thanked William for agreeing to captain this hellish adventure.
He moved away from her and caught Tia's wink, smirking and slipping past her in a way that he could brush his fingertips along her wrist. He moved to the opposite side of the ship and rested his arms on the railing. Jack wondered if he shouldn't have invited Lizzie, but she wasn't the Lizzie who had already seen World's End and therefore wouldn't be much help. And he wondered how long it would take Davy Jones to figure out just what it was they were about to do.
