Her heart ached for the girl as Katara entered the room and closed the door quietly behind her. She was dressed in her waterbending robes, the various shades of blue seeming to make her eyes stand out even more than they typically did. She'd only worn the outfit one other time since arriving here - when she'd been ridding the Hyperion of the snake infestation. It was a certain sign that she was planning on battle, the fact that she was wearing them now.
"I'm okay," she replied, a slight fib but one she was comfortable enough telling given the circumstances and the company. Moving toward the edge of the bed, she sat down beside the girl. Glancing at her, she sighed softly and her expression seemed to sadden a bit.
"There's something I need to talk to you about," she said at long last. "I need you to hear me out all the way, okay? It... isn't going to be easy, I'm afraid."
