"Tia Dalma," Katara replied simply, with a small shrug of her shoulders. "She contacted me and offered her assistance. She mentioned something about World's End, then said she could help us get out of the harbor." It was an innocent enough statement, since she had no real idea who Tia was or how well she knew either Jack or Will. In fact, the only reason she knew that Jack and Tia were even familiar with one another was the conversation they'd had in Angel's last post to the message board.
Angel... the thought of the Champion, so determined to find the woman he loved and dying in the process, it was almost enough to move the young girl to tears. With a small smile that didn't quite reach her unnaturally blue eyes, she murmured, "Excuse me for a moment, please."
Then she headed into the office, returning a moment later with a bottle of rum. Approaching Jack, she held it out for him. "Here," she offered. "I know I threatened you, and I meant what I said, but if it weren't for you I still wouldn't be able to get my friends. So now I've given you your life, and this, as my way of thanks. Don't ask for anything else." Half-turning, she slowly looked back to him and added in an almost frightening hard tone, "Oh, and if you ever hurt one of my friends again, no matter what reasons you may have, I'll end you. Once and for all."
And with that she smiled slightly then turned back to the other two men present. "Connor will be coming with us. He's Angel's son... although he'd rather no one be aware of that fact. I figure it's his right to come, and no offense to either of you," she glanced at Jack when she said that, as well as Will, "I'd rather have at least one person on board that I know."
