The elevator reached the top floor of Wolfram & Hart then continued beyond, speed increasing until it at long last came to a stop. The doors slid open to reveal the White Room, a large, black panther sprawling across the far wall and offering a sharp contrast to the color that surrounded it. The feline rose to its feet as the doors dinged and a low rumble began deep in its chest.
On silent paws if stalked forward, low to the ground and ears pinned back toward its head, until it was able to recognize the being within the elevator. Instantly the panther stiffened and a dark mist began to surround it. A few seconds later a woman stood in its spot, her black hair pulled back into a tight bun and a rather pinched look on her face.
"You have no appointment," she said, pointedly. Clearly, she was annoyed at having been disturbed.
