Peter wasn't the poster child for normal, pretty far from it, but he hadn't been through anything like Elle. He did want to take her out to all the restaurants, take her to the movies, anything like that. Right now, it wasn't as much of an option for them, considering all of the things that had been going down at the Hyperion. But once he thought it was safe, that they wouldn't be needed as much, he was going to take her out and treat her like she deserved to be.
Once he had let go of her, and she had done the same, he pushed himself up from the bed and walked towards the table. He pulled out all of the containers, he'd ordered quite a bit of food, more than either of them could eat, but he wanted to make sure there would be something she liked. He was still learning things like tat about her, almost at the same time she was learning them, it was kind of a unique experience to share.
"I'm not that great with chopsticks." Peter said with a half smile, turning his head to look at her. "Nathan use to make fun of me for it. Lack of hand-eye coordination." Once the containers had been opened, he grabbed a few of them and moved towards the bed, still watching her.
The food was ready, no denying that, but instead of immediately digging it, he decided that could wait, at least for just a few seconds. He leaned across the bed and kissed her softly on the lips. There was a sweet taste that he had identified distinctly as being Elle's.
