The Doctor had headed down to the lab, and was practically in a state of undress by the time Romana joined him. His coat had been flung aside before he'd even made it down the first corridor, and now his jacket was gone, his tie was off and his sleeves were rolled up ready for action. He had set up a number of test tubes and petri dishes without any breakages, which was quite impressive considering how hyperactive he had become.
"Hey! No, of course not, I was waiting for you!" he told her, giving her a mad grin as she came into the room, not even noticing the slippers quite yet. "Bandage?" he repeated, a little confused. "Oh!" he clicked after a couple of seconds, "my battle wound!" he added with a giggle. "I'll try. Oh, this is going to get us some dodgy looks about town, eh?" he added, still bouncing despite telling her that he would try to stay still.
