Jacen carefully damped down the twin bond. Jaina would be too exhausted to notice. But did she sincerely think he would just stand by as Vader rampaged about? Not likely to happen. Not this century.
"I promise you won't lose me, sister," he said carefully.
As he opened the passenger's door, he settled Jaina in comfortably. He certainly wasn't going to go down against Darth Vader, that much he promised himself. Moving carefully, his Jedi robes still clean and relatively undamaged despite the fun with demons he had had earlier, he got into the driver's seat.
"Hold on," he warned. "I think I'm a terrible driver."
Gunning the engine, the car zoomed off, barely under control. No one said that driving a car was easy, even for a Jedi Knight...
