"You're really real, then?" Jack's voice was too hopeful and he knew he'd regret said hope when this all ended come...well, not morning's light as the sun was still dormant, but come the time he awoke.
Only he had his proof when Will touched Jack and nothing happened. He didn't disappear, Jack didn't wake up. The pirate's face lit up and he threw out his arms, losing hold of the bottle of rum and cheering. "Will! What do you mean you'd never see me again, have I really been gone that long? I told you I was going to find the Fountain of Youth. You should be busy carting dead souls, not worrying over dear old Jack!"
Jack laughed at Will's proposal of him being immortal. "If I were immortal, it would be my heart in chest and not yours, mate. You're being awfully odd, is the Dutchman getting to you already?" He gave Will the once-over, dipping his head as he looked.
