What was with this stupid city and it's stupid need to bring everyone down? While he hadn't been having the greatest time in Bristol, it was still better than here. Things made a relative amount of sense. He had friends. Shitty friends, but still friends. Her showing up threw him off-kilter. It confused him, it scared him and why the bloody hell did he leave his hotel room in the first place?
Had she been in the hospital and made up something in her mind? They didn't make up. She blocked his damn number on her phone. As far as he could tell, that wasn't 'sorting all that out.' He stared at her, his expression softening. "I.. I don't remember, actually. That never happened for me.."
His voice trailed off slowly as she burst into tears? Bloody.. What had he said? What had he done? He looked at her helplessly then ran his hands over his eyes with a slight groan. "Don't cry, please? We're both incredibly fucked up right now." The last thing he wanted was for her to cry, but his hands hung limply at his sides as he was at a loss for what to do.
