Strange really was an understatement. He laughed. "But then, compared to the lack of sun and the rain, not much is very odd."
He considered Gabriel's words and nodded. "Perhaps it would be best to avoid treading into that territory for now. People are complicated machines, certainly, and there is a lot of potential for something to go wrong. We can try focusing on objects for now, and maybe later move on to people." Because being able to fix people had too much potential to create a god complex, even in someone as unassuming as Gabriel.
