Mohinder had been going over some files on his laptop, trying to figure out his father's encryption. Maybe he just needed to find someone to break the encryption for him so that he could figure out what his father had been working on. But he didn't trust anyone else with his father's research. For all he knew, the man who killed his father could be around here somewhere.
He started at the sound of someone knocking on the door. Nobody knew where he was. Then he remembered the card he'd given Gabriel and breathed a sigh of relief. He was getting paranoid. It wasn't good for him. He smiled as he realised that maybe Gabriel could help him. The other man had worked with his father. Maybe he knew something.
Getting up, he ran a hand through his hair in a futile attempt to tame it and opened the door, smiling warmly. "Gabriel, come in," he said, moving toward the small kitchen area as he spoke. "I was just about to make some tea. Would you like some?"
