Protesting with an annoyed sound at being pulled behind Leslie (he wasn't a baby), Luke peeked out around her again to try to find what had her spooked. --And okay, that thing was kind of weird, really, but who was he to say what was normal or not for this planet?
"What's that--?" he wanted to know, poking her and glancing between she and Aang for an answer.
The Avatar himself was no less confused, honestly, if his disbelieving expression was any indication. But then, he'd been fighting Fire Nation for long enough to know by now that it was good to trust your friends' instincts. And if Leslie (who was from this world) thought that the.. whatever-it-was was bad news, then he'd take her word for it.
"Okay," he agreed, keeping a wary eye on the creature that.. was it watching Luke? Really? "Um. I guess we can go somewhere else, right?" He stepped in front of Leslie, then, edging them both back carefully.
"Guys," Luke whined behind them (and would deny later), "what's going on?"
