“You already left me,” stated Integral without looking at him. She saw the rain fall and gazed up the grey clouds up the night sky. It did not look as if it was going to end anytime soon. Yes, she was selfish because she could not be selfish with anything else. Thinking about her needs was a privilege a leader and a Hellsing did not have. Or at least, she had not. She remained unaware what her father did when he was her age.
She paused, finally looking at him. Her expression was unreadable, shadowed by the wet strands concealing half of her face. “You have made your choice, Alucard. Stop acting as if nothing has changed.” How could he do this? Choose to give up and grant the Major his victory? “You chose to lose and by doing so, you lost me.”
Integral surprised herself how calm she sounded about it when inwardly, she was so upset.
