Don’t touch me, she wanted to say aloud, tensing when ‘Alucard’ placed his hand on her shoulder. However, Integral schooled herself to not flinch and to not response, she ignored him as if it was a cold gush of wind and nothing more. She would ignore him, even if he was real. Alucard had chosen non-existence over staying at her side, therefore she gave him exactly what he wanted. She felt betrayed and deserted by him. Her hatred no longer directed towards Major who had been the source of the problem, but to him for playing around with her feelings like this. He had not been better than Walter, not better than Richard, both readily turned against her for their ‘dreams.’
Coughing lightly, she made her way to a ruined threshold to guard herself from the rain. The water dripped from her long coat and her hair. She coughed again, bloody hell, she had better not catch some cold for this weather. Until she had some answers, all she could do was take care of herself.
