Who: Sam Winchester and Jo Harvelle (and Dean if he wants to pipe in.) What: Discussing the findings of a possible hunt. When: After a rude awakening. The time is now 6:30am. Where: The Waffle House Notes/Rating: PG-13 for disturbing events as mentioned in a newspaper.
After Jo had come rushing to Sam and Dean’s hotel room with startling news, the trio had decided to eat at the local waffle house, discuss their findings, and possibly go out hunting that day. As Dean ordered a huge breakfast with lots of syrup and sugary goods, Sam passed due to not being hungry that early in the morning and already feeling full with the meal his brother described.
As their food was being ordered, Jo took this moment and rummaged through her bag and placed at least a dozen newspaper clippings in front of Sam in which he began to read. Child disappears from home two days before found in abandoned construction site, or ACCIDENT! Twins located in park with multiple broken bones, and the even stranger Missing children autopsied to reveal strange carvings on bones.
Though the first two deemed like an ordinary murder conducted by some twisted individual, as Sam read more toward the last of the clippings, he began to see a pattern emerging and knew this was no ordinary case. The strange ten year cycle and similar murders is what thoroughly convinced Sam and after reading, he responded “Any lead on what could have done this?”
He had his own ideas, but since this was Jo’s case first, he’d like to hear what she’d determined.
