"So I remember Mum telling me," Susan said with a slight, wistful smile. "That you used to smuggle her out of the house all the time when Gran wasn't looking and take her down to the riverbanks," She said with a giggle as she pulled up two chairs and laid out the silverware before taking her place on one side of the table, glancing over at him with a sweet smile.
"But right now, let's eat and discuss what we had intended to," Susan said with a laugh. "Come on. Sit. Sit."
