These days, however, he was more likely to cause someone damage with it while flailing his arms about, or end up leaving it somewhere after carrying it for about two minutes.
The Doctor's eyebrows raised to an alarming height when Susan mentioned the technical manual. "What?! Susan! Ugh!" he moaned like a child who didn't want to do his homework. "With my concentration span that is going to take at least a year," he warned her. He knew that if forced to read at human speed, he would end up staring blankly at the same sentence as his mind went elsewhere. "Plus, reading slowly makes my eyes hurt," he added to his complaints.
