"On second thoughts, I'll just buy you a cake, baking you one might be considered further punishment for you," he grinned widely with an air of pride. For once it wasn't for himself, but rather a sort of amazement that Susan had turned out quite a lot better than ought to be expected considering he'd stolen her away before she had a chance to be taught much of anything at all.
