Jaina had to admit, no matter how many times she'd seen her father fly, she never failed to be impressed. The truly frightening part was that this was a younger version of him... and he was still pulling out tricks she'd yet to see.
Just because she was impressed though, didn't mean she was about to go down without a fight. So she increased her speed and closed the gap between them somewhat, then aimed her X-Wing for the canyon wall.
Jerking hard to the left, she managed to turn the ship completely sideways and flew precariously close to the sharp, jagged rocks. Reaching a large curve, her smile grew. This was the moment she'd been waiting for. With a sharp turn toward the wall, then an immediate correction in the opposite direction, she managed to just skim the surface with her shields and shoot upward, spiraling three times before once more zooming earthbound again.
The move brought her up neck and neck with the Falcon. All that was left was to accelerate a bit more - which she did without issue - and she was once again pulling ahead. Not by much, but enough that she couldn't help but gloat just a bit.
"You taught me that one, you know," Jaina grinned while informing her father. "Just a few years back, in fact." She paused then asked, "Or are you still convinced I'm not really who I say I am?"
