Jaina blinked, an innocent expression flickering across her features. "What's not to understand?" she questioned. "We're on another planet in another galaxy, those creatures are called demons and all sorts of them - and other types - run the streets and do just about whatever they please, the sun doesn't rise and the rain never stops." She shrugged. "Just because you don't like the answer doesn't mean it was confusing."
There was a hint of teasing in her tone. She couldn't help it. Her sense of humor, as off-beat as it may be at times, was all that was keeping her going half of the time in this place.
"But for the really interesting part..." She paused, wanting to drag out the suspense a bit just because she could, then stated, "We're apparently fictional, here. And, not just us. Everything, and everyone, we know."
Now, let him chew on that for a bit. Who knew? Maybe he'd be so interested in trying to figure out how that was even possible that the thought of turning to the Dark Side would be ignored entirely. She could always hope, at least.
