As soon as Jacen came into view, a large grin filled Jaina's face. "Took you long enough," she replied with a wink, hopping down from her perch and instead leaning lightly against it. She studied him for a moment, unable to properly put into words how happy she was to see him being, well, himself again. It had broken her heart when she'd realized he'd turned to the Dark Side and, while she'd already resolved herself to killing him in order to protect the rest of the galaxy, that didn't mean she enjoyed the thought of it.
Now, though, now she had a chance to change all of that. She could save her aunt's life, and the heartache her death had caused them all. But, more importantly, she could save Jacen. That was what she cared about the most at the moment.
Of course, they still had a long way to go. She wasn't blind to the Force lightning he'd used, and she knew it wouldn't be long before he severed their bond once more just to keep her learning things he didn't want her to know. She didn't want to think about those things, though, not at the moment.
"So," she finally did speak, "you've met some of the locals already. Want to hear the really interesting part, now?" Because if he thought hoards of demons attacking without cause within moments of arriving was strange, he hadn't heard anything, yet.
