Jaina knew just how good of a duelist her brother was. That was why she'd spent the past few months learning how to be better. And while Jacen may still have a slight upper hand when it came to the actual art of using a lightsaber, Jaina had quite a few tricks up her sleeve that he knew nothing about.
"Save it!" she all but yelled when he insisted on keeping up with the charade. Her entire body gave a slight tremble before she managed to reign in her temper once more. She continued her circle around him, never taking her eyes off of him for a second as she exhaled softly and said in a calm, even, yet still hardened tone, "I don't want to hear anymore of your lies. You've caused enough damage, you've hurt enough people. It's time you pay for what you've done."
Slowly, a humorless smile turned her lips upward. "And I'm the one who is going to make sure that happens."
She would have attacked him then. She was intending on it. However, movement from the shadows to their left caught her eye and she instantly went still. Demon! her mind screamed and Jaina, deciding that Caedus might actually be the lesser of two evils for the time being, spun away from her brother and toward the movement just in time to see a dozen or so creatures step out of the shadows.
"Oh, stang," was all she could think to say as, quite suddenly, the tables were turned and she was quickly outnumbered.
