"A wizard. It's been awhile since I've seen someone who was able to do magic." Her true descendants, such as Chidori, for example. The ones who had her D.N.A. forced upon them did not count in her mind. Al seemed uncomfortable talking about it, so she decided that she would not ask anymore questions about it. At least for now. She was slightly interested how magic from her world differed from the magic he knew.
Ceres shook her head. "I do not know. The force that brought me here, and likely you as well, is likely blocking any attempts at leaving." Not that she could even attempt without her celestial robe. "Perhaps there is a spell of yours that you might try?"
She had not taken her attention away from Al, but she could sense that something was watching them. Thinking back, she did remember that the creature she'd killed had had another with them. How troublesome. This one probably wanted revenge, or merely wanted to prove that it could achieve what the other could not. This new one charged from the nearby shadows, going directly for Ceres. She didn't even blink, just looked away from Al and stared coldly at the creature. Raising a single hand, she summoned forth her powers once again, only having to use the smallest of amounts. Violet lightning struck the creature down, reducing it to dust and ash in a matter of seconds.
"Insolent creatures. If one could not defeat me, another would not be able to either." This was said mostly to herself before she turned her attention back to Al. "These vampires do not like to quit."
