WHO: Ceres and OPEN WHAT: The celestial maiden arrives...and she's pissed WHERE: Streets WHEN: No sun, what does it matter? RATING: PG-13 for now STATUS: In progress
She could see the sight clearly now, even with her eyes closed. The shining gates of heaven and the everlasting light and peace. Her home. Where she and other celestial maidens lived and thrived. Opening her eyes, the vision of that perfection was gone...replaced with the dreary sight of a city clouded with rain and darkness. Heaven had been pulled out of her reach once again. She was bound in a human form, though the body was not that of Aya. It was a body of her own. "Why?" she whispered to herself. "Why?" She and all of those with her blood deserved to be where they belonged. Any yet they were all stuck on earth among humans. It was a human that had ruined her life with his lust and desire for a being much better than himself. And yet it wasn't a Hikage causing her problem this time. No, this time it was a force that she'd never experienced before.
The rain ran through her dark violet hair, down her back and off of her. Using a minute fraction of her power, she became untouchable by the water. Golden eyes shone with anger, but also intrigue. Exactly what had brought her here?
Somehow, she'd come to this odd new place dressed in a kimono. Not that it bothered her. It was the traditional dress she was used to. Hands at her sides, Ceres began to walk, untouched by the rain. Eyes that had seen so much went on surveying the human world that she had come to hate. To any onlookers, she would certainly be a strange sight. Plum colored hair fanned out almost as if there was wind blowing through the strands and her feet didn't really seem to touch the ground. Ceres could have flown should she have chosen to, but unneccesary attention wasn't her goal at that moment.
It was movement in the nearby shadows that caught her attention. Ceres merely turned her gaze to see who was the cause. It was a man, pale and almost gaunt, looking at her with a hunger behind his eyes. Her expression remained unphased, even as he lunged at her without saying a thing. An almost smirk touched her lips. She caught him by the neck. "I am not sure what type of creature you are," she began, "but that was very unwise to do." Without even batting an eye, she used her powers again, purple lightning crackling from her hand and striking him until there was no longer a being's neck in her grasp. No, he'd been reduced to ashes at her feet.
