Following her rather spectacular failing at an outing the last time she'd tried it, it had taken Jaina a while to work up the nerve to do so once again. After all, her first go around she'd run into her grandfather, of all people, and had played 'mad dash across town' only to discover that her grown uncle had been replaced with his much younger, childhood version. Needless to say, the entire ordeal had left Jaina a little baffled.
She'd recovered, though. You didn't come from one of the most well-known families in the galaxy without getting used to the strange and unexplainable. So, once again, after making sure everything on her To Do List was finished, the young woman headed out into the streets of Los Angeles to do a bit of exploring.
Ultimately, the sudden surge in... something is what caught her attention. She had been on her way to a nearby club - just to see if anything interesting was taking place there - when there was a disturbance in the Force so strong it very nearly bowled her over sideways. Her first thought was Exar Kun, but she knew that wasn't right. This wasn't a dark feeling at all. Just different. Very, very different.
Unable to resist investigating, Jaina slipped her lightsaber into her hand and changed directions, using the Force to propel her quickly and silently across the concrete beneath her feet. Rounding the corner she slowed down then came to a stop, eyebrow quirking slightly at the sight of some large lava-looking creature facing off with a vampire.
This, she decided, was much more entertaining, as she settled in to watch the impending fight.
