Eventually the wall did come down the loud squelch echoing preternaturally, plants moving and scuffling about, as Eve tried desperately to open the door. It was locked. Thankfully the orange wall, now a splotchy puddle on the floor would give her a little time, the very nature of it, making the floor a less than safe place to stand. But would it give her enough time, she didn’t know
“Damn you.. Open.. Open.”
Her hands trembled as she tried for the seventh time to force open a latch.
“Plllease open.” She screamed, gritting her teeth as she made a hardy attempt to pull the metallic latch upwards.
