Tosh smiled sadly. She hated that Owen was hurting, but maybe this would be cathartic for him in some way. She knew how much this must have hurt Owen, how different he was from the front he put up. He only pretended to be an unfeeling jerk, and really she worried sometimes that he felt too much. Diane had shown that, as had this.
She ran her fingers through his hair, hoping the motion was soothing, just listening to him as he spoke, not wanting to break the moment. She didn't want Owen to close up again. She wanted him to share his feelings with her, but she knew if she pushed too hard, she'd never get anywhere with him.
She laughed slightly. "He likes hiring people who have potential to cause him a lot of problems," she said with a shrug. Because beating up someone wasn't the normal method of getting a job. Then again, neither was getting thrown in prison. "Look at how Ianto got hired." She blushed again.
