She was trying hard not to set him off either. It was a difficult task at times because, really, there was a small part of her that enjoyed getting him mad. Gave her a chance to argue back. But having that in overabundance was a waste of time and energy. It seemed that Hunter's thoughts were the same as he hadn't really gotten her angry lately either. It was a good thing, yeah, but one would never be able to tell how long that was going to last. "Oddly enough, I can't help but think that's funny," she said, smiling. "You probably have better fashion sense too." A two year old probably had better fashion sense than her. A blind person could have better fashion sense than her. Mary K had inherited all of the style genes as far as she was concerned. And the pretty genes, but that was beside the point.
It wasn't his fault. The dislike wasn't for relearning the spells. It was remembering the person who'd taught them to her first. "You don't have to be sorry. It's fine," she said. Her hands were set in her lap as she sat next to him. Right now she just wanted to learn. Or re-learn as the case was. It would help take her mind off of him, if at least for now.
The words of the spell were simple and wouldn't be hard to remember. Now the important part was actually concentrating her magic with the words. Nodding, Morgan said, "Alright. Hopefully I won't get soaked, or else that'd be pretty sad on my part." Watching him stand, she took the hand he offered and got up as well. Once she was standing it took her a moment or two to realize that she was still holding onto his hand. Trying not to make it amazingly awkward, Morgan took her own hand back and tucked into her pocket. "Um...so, let's go then."
