Zuko drew back a bit and silent mused on how it now seemed that he and Katara had switched personalities. Here she was, talking about all that had gone wrong and he was the one reassuring her that all would be fine. Usually, it was the other way around. He was the bitter one, not her. He wanted to personally do harm to the one who set those snakes loose on the Hyperion--if not for those who he befriended within it's walls, for damaging the bright aura that usually surrounded the girl who continued, even in this state, to captivate him.
"Annie was with her when I got to her room," he answered, gesturing with one hand in the direction Annie lay. "She was bitten before I got there. I got them both out."
