He wasn't about to say as much to her, though, for he didn't want to upset her more than she already was.
What he may or may have not done when he was getting Kathy and Annie out of the hotel would have to wait; what his girlfriend was currently going through was more important. Far more important than a bend-less firebender with delusions of earthbending.
