It was more that it would bother her that they didn't trust her word that he was safe and, mostly, harmless. Mostly because he would harm those who threatened him or those he cared for. "Yeah. It's just bad that I'm supposed to be working with them and I don't trust them."
Well, it wasn't exactly her fault that she had been fighting and not healing herself. Plus she had wanted to focus on healing other people. "You're right, but it still makes me feel bad for just leaving her there." She replied softly, her eyes remaining closed for the time being. She brought her other hand up to wrap it about her ribs again. As his fingers paused and then started back up. "I know, but it feels almost like I'm deserting them. That's why I want you there, I'd feel minutely safer." She waited, her hand on his leg and the arm on her ribs tightening about the two things she was holding onto. "I'm just lucky, I guess. To be liked....I think you do anyways."
