She knew that Sarah wasn't likely to trust Aubrey, she was pretty sure that Kristopher wouldn't either because Sarah didn't. She just wasn't sure what to do about it, because she did trust him. She let her hand rest against his leg again, adjusting just enough so that she could do it. She was safe here. "It's more that someone tried to kill us. I was fine up until that point, but I can't just trust them after something like that.."
She leaned forward as he worked on going lower down her back. "Both. Mostly because I left Sarah there on her own, I could careless about the rest of them. They aren't my family. And they aren't my people, like you, Sarah, and Kristopher are. I know that they might not like you, but while it's their decision to make if you can be there, it's my decision to stay if they don't let you be there. Horrible, I know, but I'm not going to stay where I don't trust them not to turn at me at the drop of a hat. It's bad that I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't turn on me, not without a damn good reason at least.."
