Katara spun at the crunching of the snake, eyes widening slightly as she stared at the man. She hadn't met him, yet, but relaxed visibly when he smiled, then even moreso when he mentioned Sarah.
"Katara," she answered with a smile of her own. "And I'll have to remember to thank Sarah. A lot."
Truth be told, she'd been scared to death to do this on her own. She would have, of course, but she hadn't wanted to. This hotel had become too dangerous to roam the hallways on your own, even if you were a Master Waterbender.
Her head snapped to the right at the sound of slithering and she pulled both arms close to her chest then shoved outward, sending a small wave of water into the snake she'd spotted. It toppled into the wall and froze, body curling in on itself as it fought off the chill until the bitter end. Returning the water to the rest that was coiled around her arms, she glanced back at Kristopher.
"I figured I'd start with this level, first. The third floor doesn't have anyone living on it, so I can seal it off at the stairwell. Then it's just a quick trip to the garden and we're out of here." At least, that was the plan. Considering they were the only two in the area, however, meant they'd also attracted every snake around. If they didn't hurry, it was going to be next to impossible to get out without being bitten.
