Susan hadn't been anticipating a sudden squall to overtake her when she was on the trek between her TARDIS and her grandfather's, but the sudden strength of the wind had ended up barreling her over and back down the street in the opposite direction of where she had been headed. Latching onto the nearest support that she could, Susan thanked Rassilon silently for being a Gallifreyan. If she had been a human and gotten stuck out in this mess, she would have been done for for sure. As it was, her slight figure was struggling to keep a hold onto the lamppost that she was clinging to for dear life, even with her biological systems working overtime to pump the adrenaline needed for her to keep a firm grip into her system.
As the hurricane edged the eye of the storm over her head, the deadly calm settling around her for the briefest of moments, Susan hit a dead sprint toward the TARDIS, fumbling for her key and yanking open the door, slamming it back behind her just before another surge wave hit the side of the TARDIS, causing it to buck again, sending Susan sprawling up the ramp and onto the grating floor, eye level with her unconscious Grandfather.
"By Omega..." Susan gasped, her hands shooting out and gripping her grandfather's shoulder, giving him a rough shake. "Wake up! This is no time for a bloody nap!"
