Almost lightheaded from the sudden rush, Willow couldn't seem to nod her head fast enough at Tia's offer. "Sounds good to me," she replied, her voice trembling ever so slightly with excitement and pure, unfiltered power. She could feel it, teasing her, calling to her. She wanted it, wanted it more than she'd ever wanted anything in this world.
She still didn't know who the woman was, exactly, but she was starting to get a good idea. A God, of that there was little doubt. Which one, she couldn't say, but she knew it'd come to her soon enough. If there was one thing Willow - any version of her - was good at doing, it was solving a riddle. Especially one that involved intelligence and the ability to remember things learned in school.
For now, though, Tia's true identity didn't matter to her nearly as much as the power that she was being offered. She wasn't stupid. She knew it was just temporary. She also knew she would have to be careful not to burn herself out too quickly. But the thought of being able to at least taste some of that power was more than enough to keep her there, and keep her interested.
