Willow had just managed to recover from whatever in the hell it was that Sarah had done to her when she sensed, more than felt, the presence of someone even more powerful than the two blondes she was currently facing. Her head snapped up, dark eyes swirling with raw fury, just in time to see something being tossed her way.
Out of instinct her hand shot out, fingers wrapping around the lasso. Immediately, a scream burst past her lips as her entire body stiffened. A flash filled the sky, blinding in its intensity. The color slowly began to drain from the witch's hair, black locks once more returning to their natural red, her skin taking on a more natural hue in place of the chaulky white complexion that had been there moments before.
"What the-" she gasped, green eyes wide with horror as she stared at the ground below her, at her friends being attacked by creatures that she couldn't even wrap her mind around. Perplexed, her attention went to the woman holding the other end of the lasso, then down at the part she held in her own hand. Then she spotted Dawn, unconscious on the ground, and everything else ceased to matter.
"Oh, Goddess, Dawnie!" she exclaimed, dropping the lasso with the intent of going to help the girl who was like a little sister to her. However, the moment she let go, another scream burst from her lips and she was flung backward, crashing hard into the iron gate in front of the hotel. Sliding down it, dazed but not unconscious, she shook her head to snap herself out of the shock.
By the time she'd finished, her hair was black once more and this time, her face was a picture of pure, unadulterated fury.
"What in the hell did you do to me, you bitch?" the once again dark witch demanded, soaring back into the air. Magic crackled around her, a whirlwind blowing her hair from her face as she glared daggers at the woman who, for a brief instant, had actually made her feel love.
"That's it," she announced flatly as she began drawing on the magic around her, fire appearing in the palm of one hand. "You're going down." Her enraged expression was temporarily obscured by the flash of heat that filled the sky as she let the fireball loose.
