Zuko's golden eyes had popped open the minute Angel spoke up, pulling away from Katara just as she lurched away from him. A bit annoyed, he met the vampire's unhappy glance and told himself that setting the man on fire would be more trouble than it was worth. Besides, it wasn't like Katara was his girlfriend or anything, or that he even liked her in that way. He was just...well, to be crude: horny.
He didn't get Angel, though. The vampire glared at him and barked orders at him in a way Ozai did...only not so much with the threats, banishment, and impossible tasks. It was like Angel was trying to father him, to which, Zuko didn't need a father figure. He had one in the form of his uncle. And it irked him to no end that Angel was acting the part, whether the vampire intended to or not.
"There's a thing called knocking," he said before he had time to contemplate the words coming out of his mouth.
