Katara eyed him for a moment longer before giving a slight nod. "Feel free to look," she agreed. She sounded slightly unnatural to her own ears, but she supposed that was because of how... even she was keeping her tone.
She couldn't bring herself to be as nice as she might be with her friends, not just yet anyway, but she wasn't being rude as she'd been before, either. Just... neutral. It was a strange way to speak to someone for an extended period of time.
"I think I healed most of it," she admitted after a second. "It doesn't hurt like it did at first." A brief pause and she added with an almost sheepish expression, "But I'm not really sure. I've never had to fix a possibly broken nose before. Especially a self-inflicted one." That admission made her flush slightly. She really did feel like an idiot for having not held onto the crossbow tightly. Katara was starting to think that maybe her tribe had been right when they'd decided using weapons just wasn't a woman's place.
