Katara tensed when he approached the weapons cabinet, then tensed even more when he reached into the pocket of his jeans. When he emerged with a band to pull up his hair, she relaxed ever so slightly although her eyes were still narrowed in suspicion. She had to admit that he was being true to his word so far, but they were also just getting started. It wouldn't last, she was sure of that.
Moving toward the cabinet herself, she frowned lightly and pulled out each weapon. The crossbow felt awkward in her grasp, and the battle ax wasn't light by any means. As for the short sword... well, she'd spent enough time cleaning the swords of the village that she had at least an idea how to best hold it so she didn't cut off her own foot.
It was a struggle, holding all three, but she managed well enough and turned to look at him. "I'm going to guess there's some sort of place we can go train? The lobby doesn't seem very practical," she commented, meeting his gaze with a carefully neutral expression. She was going to try her hardest to be civil and get through this as quickly as possible.
