Pausing, her hand still midway into reaching for the doors handle, Eve tossed a glance back towards the green woman. Her mitochondria toyed with the various outcomes of walking out, or staying. Host liked Ivy. Ivy had done something real bad, but like her old self, security sometimes outweighed the dangers. It let it’s host make the decision.
The semi guarded sigh was crystal clear.
“Ivy…” she sheepishly stepping toward the sunken woman arms protectively crossed over her chest. “ I never lied to I promise. You know those bad men you said hurt you. Bad men did something to me too. They made me. But not like a mom and a dad do.”
She bit her lip – hard – trying to become at least half composed.
“They wanted me to use my mitochondria, to hurt people…to make them turn into monsters. Scary ones… And then… Aya… No… I don’t know,. I wake up here and now I’m all alone.”
