Since Lex had been so torn up over Chloe going missing, Ron decided that the least he could do for the man who had given him a place to stay was put in the time to go off and look for his wife. It was hard work, considering that Ron didn't have any idea on where to even begin to look in a huge city like this, but it didn't stop him from wandering around and asking questions about the blonde. No one seemed to know a thing and it was already starting to get a little more than irritating on his part. For one, half the people around here didn't even know who Chloe was (Ron barely knew himself!), and for another he was absolutely starving and everyone knows that Ron gets cranky when he's working on an empty stomach.
A low rumble gave way from the pit of his gut when he stepped out from some sort of muggle gadget shop and into the street. He rubbed at his ribs and, as he had passed it earlier, decided to double back and visit one of the sweet shops he had seen from before. Ron only had a few bills in his pocket, and he honestly wasn't sure if he had enough to afford anything because of the sheer fact that he didn't know how to function without galleons and sickles, but he hoped that the person selling him food would be kind enough to help him out. Or rip him off. He was on the verge of stepping inside when he caught a glimpse of a small girl just sitting outside. Who did that? And in this miss? Brows rising upward, Ron cautiously approached her and awkwardly cleared his throat. "Are you, er, you know...all right and all?"
