"It is not 'nothing'," Cimorene insisted, managing a little smile. "You saved my life," she reminded him, wondering when she'd turned into the princesses she hated. At least she wasn't batting her eyelashes. If she were, she'd have to go back and taunt the snakes some more.
Testing her stance, Cimorene wobbled a bit, but nodded. "With some help, if you are willing," she said hopefully. The idea of somehow getting to the shelter - who's location was unknown to her - on her own steam seemed daunting. "I'm Princess Cimorene," she offered with a weak curtsey.
