"It wasn't my decision to bring you here." she said gently, but sternly. And it wasn't. True, she was hoping for a witch, but she hadn't made the call. All calls came from Ty, and Ty's name was to remain unknown to all guests. After hearing his last story, she could see why. But this world was different than Ty's. Things here were going to be much, much different.
Natsumi watched with interest as the pencil rolled off her hand. She knew she hadn't moved her palm, though others would argue it. "Fascinating." she said with excitement, brown eyes large, before bringing another pen to the clip board and writing something down. "Could you make it move across the floor?" she asked, "Or maybe up onto the counter?" she knew the witch was capable of more than this. But she wanted to start small.
She could, at least, try to make her comfortable, gain her trust if she could. Honey was sweeter than vinegar. Maybe she could get to the bigger things. But later, not right now. The Doctor would see if the girl wold be co-operate in moving up a few days from now. They'd get a few more blood samples, see what her powers could really do in a controled enviroment. But for now it was about making Tara as settled as she could be in a place like this.
Natsumi knew that wouldn't be easy. She didn't expect them to trust her right away, but she did expect co-operation, simply because if they wanted to live, they'd have to give in.
