The Compound. Please don't fight. Doctor Katsu. Armed guards. For a moment Tara didn't say anything. Processing this in and the result causing her eyes to widen a little when she looked at the woman, there was a vague hint of sympathy. It wasn't mocking. It was genuine. And as scared as Tara was right now, nervous and unsure, she did feel bad for this girl. Even though she didn't look that far away from Tara's twenty-two, she felt so much younger to the young witch. She looked nice too. So Tara felt bad for her. Because all of this was not going to end well.
Instead of answering the woman's statement, because it was obvious she wanted some sort of affirmation, Tara's brows knitted together slightly, leaning forward just a bit, she said, "Y-you, you ... Th-this is ju-just b-bad. Th-this enti-ire thing? It's ... it's just no-not going to end well. I'm s-sorry." She felt that she had to say it. It never ended well. Already she had in mind the Initiative. Even if Buffy hadn't been here, Buffy, Xander, Anya, and Spike .. even if they hadn't been here and she still was. She knew that it would end badly and she knew that someone would come to get her. Because that's what the people in this city did. She hadn't spoken to Faith or Angel very much but for she saw of them told her that they wouldn't allow people to be taken in their city once they caught wind of it. And when you added the Sunnydale people? Well, they had a HUGE dislike for this kind of thing. Especially Spike and Buffy. Not to mention, she really did have every faith that they would find her and get her out of this. Scoobies didn't leave people behind, especially not their own. "I know that probably doesn't make any kind of sense and I probably should explain why this won't work out so you can understand what I'm saying. Which would only be fair, since you seem very nice. But this entire thing, the Compound and asking me if I'm a witch. And you're going to want to test if I am, am I right? Even if I do say no. It's just a bad plan." Tara's stuttering had long stopped, because she was sure that this was going to worked out for the better. Or she really, really hoped that it would. Soon her words tampered off as well when she realized that she was rambling and likely sounded like a crazy person.
