Guy glanced at her, biting his lip. "Where do you live?" he questioned tentatively, still frowning. "Marian, how long have you been here?" He just couldn't understand how she could be so relaxed in this place after only a few hours. He knew he'd heard her voice just a moment before arriving here. Surely she couldn't have been here longer.
Guy didn't argue when she said he should get something to wear tomorrow. If that was what she thought was best, he would go along with it. This place was so strange, he wasn't going to waste energy arguing with someone who obviously knew this place better than him.
Guy followed her to the strange clothes, reaching out to run his hand over the material. It was soft; much softer than anything he'd felt before. He raised his eyebrows. "I need to try these on?" he asked, frowning a little. He looked at her sceptically for a moment before lifting a hand to begin unfastening his doublet.
