Vi's mouth formed a small 'oh' as she made the sound. She'd forgotten Cathy was married to the lawyer who'd gone all evil on her. "Well, in that case, you really need to buy that dress and make him take you out for dinner," she said as she headed back towards her dressing room. "If he protests, say it's for putting up with his alternate self and you deserve a night out." She latched the door.
"It sounds fun. You can't go wrong with enforced neutrality and from the way it was described, there's something for everyone." And there would be people in costumes which was just fun anyway. She loved Halloween, even after becoming a Slayer. Well, mostly. When her keys weren't walking off on her. Folding up the jeans and the top, she set them on the bench and pulled her old jeans and the hoodie back on.
After gathering up her purchases, she stepped back out, hopping down the hall as she pulled her boots back on. Her eyes grew wide as she regarded Cathy. "God's granddaughter?" That was more interesting than finding out it actually had snowed in Los Angeles. "Wow. That's...was she nice?" She kept her voice down, matching Cathy's. A small grin returned. "Of course. No one probably wanted to go shuffle."
Vi returned the thumbs up. "A successful visit, I'd say. Hopefully these last awhile before I end up ass first in a garbage pile again."
